The timing of HBO slitting the throats of the forums or cutting ties was bad for the Game of Thrones group, also with it's popularity so many sites have popped up I am hoping that we get traffic here to bring in more conversation angles. This Forum is really great and it's a pity so few of us enjoy it.

Yes, let us hope some of our old buddies will locate us and it would also be fun if some of the guests who visit would join and engage in the discussions. We will find out in 11 days.

Caught some of the got marathon on HBO and am in awe. Just one magnificent scene after another! Love this show! Yes, I caught parts of 3 episodes. I sometimes have issues with the series storyline, but they get A+++ for cinematography. You are soo correct DW their scenes are soo well done.
I saw the scene where they call Jon "King of the North" , I teared up just like the first time. It slipped my mind that Arya had fed Walder some of his sons in her Frey pie. Good stuff!!!
I joined WontW forum and will be on the lookout for any of the old group.

I joined Watcher's on the Wall forum to see if any of the old group might have also joined there. So far I didn't see any who fit the bill. maybe when the season starts. We can all keep looking.

We have titles for the first 3 episodes.
1. Draganstone 2. Stormborn 3. Queen's Justice
Sounds like they are all referring to Dany. Sounds like a lot of Dany Story line in the first 3. Can't believe 8 days. Very interested to compare the show with the leaks.

Well there is only Jon, Dani and Kings Landing that is a focal point now, Arya and her trip to Winterfell and the wall, they are not as spread out and will be interacting now so story headers are going to include them all. First, a pick up of King of the North Jon and possibly his conflict with Littlefinger and Sansa getting started and bringing the real threat to the forefront and leaving for support, Dani landing at Dragonstone and tieing up her 7 year trip to get there and Euron beating the Greyjoy Fleet and bring prisoners to Cersie, Cersie conquering the Tyrells to eliminate that threat. Second, Jon arrives or is it the Red Women in Dragonstone, that would be unexpected in both accounts, leaning towards Jon, the Revolt, Umbers and Karstarks, I think Littlefinger stirs up a bit of stuff but they will need to make peace, how they do that? Marriage but who ? We seen a young boy and the new Red head in court in the leaks, Bran isn't there yet and they won't want to Marry him off anyway since he would be the actual default King unless he declined and he may not be able to father children. Unless the revolt is put to rest with his actual arrival and news, Arya could also show up, but she won't be in a Wedding Chapel mood. For Jon to leave and get help, peace has to happen and happen fast, someone scares or shakes the foundations of the North for all that to come about quickly. Tyrion,he begins to put the pieces in motion on the big board and teach Dani as a war time advisor knowing who has the money and strengths and taking those out first. Third,Dani establishes her presence in Dragonstone and the curious and the Challenged come to weigh her threat level or to align with her, Cersie kills the Sand snakes, the gift being the Necklace sent to her from the Sand Snakes that sent Jamie and Bronn to Dorne, Jamie learning from his mistakes, well that could only be leaving Kings Landing and going to Casterly Rock due to Cersie aligning with Euron, not supporting her and her madness which would make sense seeing him and Bronn on the Battlefield. Guess I know but Jamies redemption path then would continue, who he ends up with in the end or as a prisoner or dead with his leaked battle charge against Dragon or a foe with that lance will be curious. That's my guesses on what the title and synopsis means.
