Now that was a great first episode. I loved every frame. Arya's speech was very satisfying, she got rid of all the Frey males in record time. There won't be any more Frey's to bother Westeros and Cersei lost one of her few allies. GOOD!
Sure hope Jon and Sansa stop bickering, they will need each other. They've brought the North together so they can work as one, don't mess it up... Lyanna Mormont is as cute and fierce as ever.
Jamie is way to easy on Cersei, I had hope he would give her a harder time about Tommen and Uncle Kevin. Euron is a real peach, he dug right under Jamie's skin and layed eggs. Those two will come to blows at some point.
Arya is heading south to kill the Queen and telling Lannaster enlisted....i was laughing and scared at the same time.
The Hound is still very grumpy, but he is having a hard time hiding his heart of gold....Wow, he saw everything in the flames.
I was laughing and retching with Sam, poor guy he gets the worst jobs, but he made a king size discovery. They are going to need all of that Dragonglass. Poor Jorah, his arm is looking really bad. I'm curious to find out if the cure will stop further advance or cleanse his arm of the GS all together? I'm hoping for the later, we will see.
Dany is home at last, we thought she might never make it. She's home and she isn't letting any grass grow under her feet. Shall we begin?

Well Aryas kill count just went through the roof, her encounter with the Lannister soldiers, hmmm does she let them live? Going to Kings Landing as well, Kill the Queen, she has more Balls then the Unsullied army before they were cut. Sansa, is she undermining or testing Jons resolve and ability to lead. She is playing Littlefinger now, but she is also getting over confident I think, Littlefinger the teacher has not taught her everything. Her advice to Jon is still sound though he needs to be smarter. Jon does seem more resolved in his decisions. He needs to consider Sansa's consulting more seriously and acknowledge it. Bran and Meera safe for now, was quickie tie in to show they made it to the wall. Cersie, she is playing the game hard core, using Jamie, using Euron, using what ever she can. Jamie is right the Highgarden has the resources they need. Found it interesting the Frey killer is unknown................ Euron, they are painting him as a remorseless power monger who will do what he wants to get what he wants, Hates Jamie, Jamie hates him, at some point Jamie is going to kill him even with one hand I do like how the actor is portraying Euron though. Sam had turned into a thief, stealing books out of the restricted area, is an expert Chamber pot cleaner though, hope they don't draw out his apprenticeship to long though, seeing shit and piss and Sam retching will get old fast. Did find his conversation with the Measter doing the autopsy interesting, they are record keepers and feel that things will happen around them but they will remain unaffected. The Hound see's the family he robbed that Arya said not too right before they separated, another redemption turn for The Hound. Jorah found the Citadel, is he being cured or left to rot? Dani is home, I thought it would be more dramatic then it was, still cool seeing the Dragons circle the tops of the spires, but the rest was a bit blah, shall we begin was good though. Oh and everyone is wearing black I noticed.

Well Aryas kill count just went through the roof, her encounter with the Lannister soldiers, hmmm does she let them live? Going to Kings Landing as well, Kill the Queen, she has more Balls then the Unsullied army before they were cut. LOL! Love the Balls analogy.....She was cool as a cucumber all episode.Sansa, is she undermining or testing Jons resolve and ability to lead. I really did get where Sansa was coming from, there are consequences, but I admire Jon for not punishing the children for their fathers mistakes. I sure hope it doesn't come back to bite him. But, he needs to sit down and confer with Sansa before he makes decisions, she does no a lot more about Cersei than he does.Bran and Meera safe for now, was quickie tie in to show they made it to the wall. I expected we would see a conversation between Bran and Edd, I guess that will be next week.Cersie, she is playing the game hard core, using Jamie, using Euron, using what ever she can. Jamie is right the Highgarden has the resources they need. Found it interesting the Frey killer is unknown................ Sounds like Bronn and Jamie will be making a trip next week and visiting Highgraden. Euron left so it's safe for Jamie to leave for a while. I wonder how they will figure out it was Arya who did the Frey's? I expected her to free Edmure, I guess with no males there he can escape easily.Euron, they are painting him as a remorseless power monger who will do what he wants to get what he wants, Hates Jamie, Jamie hates him, at some point Jamie is going to kill him even with one hand I do like how the actor is portraying Euron though. Ditto!Sam had turned into a thief, stealing books out of the restricted area, is an expert Chamber pot cleaner though, hope they don't draw out his apprenticeship to long though, seeing shit and piss and Sam retching will get old fast. Ditto again! LOL!Did find his conversation with the Measter doing the autopsy interesting, they are record keepers and feel that things will happen around them but they will remain unaffected. Jim Broadbent was excellent! The Hound see's the family he robbed that Arya said not too right before they separated, another redemption turn for The Hound. Jorah found the Citadel, is he being cured or left to rot? It looks like left to rot, but maybe just Quarantine?Dani is home, I thought it would be more dramatic then it was, still cool seeing the Dragons circle the tops of the spires, but the rest was a bit blah, shall we begin was good though. Oh and everyone is wearing black I noticed.

A lot happened last night.
Hope we don't have to sit through Sam's ordeals again. We get it... he gets the WORST jobs there. I think he will be the one to help find the cure for Jorah.
Arya was almost normal around those Lannister soldiers. I thought that scene was sweet and then it was hilarious. The male Frey's are gone. Perhaps the surviving female Frey's did not give a description of the killer??
Jon will be leaving soon, giving Sansa rule over Winterfell.
Jaime is so weak with his sister. She is the female version of the Mad King. You would think that would give him pause...if he diddles around too long, Brianne will fall under the spell of Thoramond! No, just joking!
Euron is perfect for Cresei. Surely, he won't get hold of Tyrion! That would be a blandishment!!
I love Sandor's character.
Six more to go!

OMG! Tormund is a riot, the way he looks at Brienne. She just seems disgusted. To bad he is leaving for Eastwatch, I love watching he and Brienne.
I have to say the guy at Reddit who said he watched the first 2 episodes was spot on 100% about # 1. I doubted that Euron would show up at KL in the first episode, but he sure did. I also doubted Arya would head south to KL, but she did. He wasn't wrong on one scene.
Little LA, I know only 6 to go, it will go so fast. I do think that may be the best first episode to a season yet.
I am so excited to see how it goes between Arya and Nymeria. All the time Arya was traveling with the Hound Nymeria never found her, why now? I guess we will learn that answer next week.

But, he needs to sit down and confer with Sansa before he makes decisions, she does no a lot more about Cersei than he does. He should form something akin to the small council to discuss issues so that he can weigh others' opinions before he makes decisions.Bran and Meera safe for now, was quickie tie in to show they made it to the wall. I expected we would see a conversation between Bran and Edd, I guess that will be next week. Mildly unsatisfying but at least we know that they are safe for now.Cersie, she is playing the game hard core, using Jamie, using Euron, using what ever she can. I expected her to free Edmure, I guess with no males there he can escape easily. Cersie is completely unhinged. How can they think that Olenna will side with them after what she did? Maybe Ros freed Edmure and he told her to keep Arya's identity a secret. They are family after all. If he takes control of the Twins this could be a boon for Jon.Euron, they are painting him as a remorseless power monger who will do what he wants to get what he wants, Hates Jamie, Jamie hates him, at some point Jamie is going to kill him even with one hand I do like how the actor is portraying Euron though. Ditto! I can't wait for Euron to get what is coming to him! Unfortunately there are probably many more that he will take down before karma strikes there.Sam had turned into a thief, stealing books out of the restricted area, is an expert Chamber pot cleaner though, hope they don't draw out his apprenticeship to long though, seeing shit and piss and Sam retching will get old fast. Ditto again! LOL! I was amused but retching right along with him.Did find his conversation with the Measter doing the autopsy interesting, they are record keepers and feel that things will happen around them but they will remain unaffected. Jim Broadbent was excellent! These scholars are going to have to wake up to the fact that they can not be casual observers anymore, just recording events. Nothing will be untouched in what is to come. The Hound see's the family he robbed that Arya said not too right before they separated, another redemption turn for The Hound. Jorah found the Citadel, is he being cured or left to rot? It looks like left to rot, but maybe just Quarantine? I hope it is quarantine as well. I really want him to be cured and return to Dany's side.Dani is home, I thought it would be more dramatic then it was, still cool seeing the Dragons circle the tops of the spires, but the rest was a bit blah, shall we begin was good though. The drama here was more emotional here for me. Arriving back at the place of her birth. The first real step in the direction that her life was aimed at. She is a force -if her brother could only see her now!Oh and everyone is wearing black I noticed.

Loved your perspective Cricket. Some excellent observations. Cersei gets crazier every season, don't we love to hate her? They have to keep her around as she is the worst person left in the series with a few exceptions.

The funny thing is that I don't really hate her - I hate the things that she does but I feel sorry for her on some level and admire her accomplishments on another. I don't advocate her methods by any means but she is a formidable woman. This show has no lack of impressive female characters. Men too but they don't seem to live very long. LOL

A lot happened last night.
Hope we don't have to sit through Sam's ordeals again. We get it... he gets the WORST jobs there. I think he will be the one to help find the cure for Jorah. Agreed. A little bit of that goes a long way. I hope you are right about the cure. I really want to see Jorah back in the story. He is back in Westeros after a long exile and I am hoping that he can somehow reconnect with his family before the story concludes. He did some bad things but deserves a chance to redeem himself. He is certainly not a bad person.
Arya was almost normal around those Lannister soldiers. I thought that scene was sweet and then it was hilarious. The male Frey's are gone. Perhaps the surviving female Frey's did not give a description of the killer?? Maybe Edmure had something to do with this?
Jon will be leaving soon, giving Sansa rule over Winterfell. Leaving her with Littlefinger around is troubling. He reinforces the negative, cynical things that she learned from Cercie.
Jaime is so weak with his sister. She is the female version of the Mad King. You would think that would give him pause...if he diddles around too long, Brianne will fall under the spell of Thoramond! No, just joking! I think Jaime will come around. He is showing signs of it already.
Euron is perfect for Cresei. Surely, he won't get hold of Tyrion! That would be a blandishment!! I really don't like Euron - on the same level as Joffrey and Ramsay. I eagerly await his comeuppance!
I love Sandor's character. I love the Hound too!
Six more to go! It will go by too fast

OMG it hooked me from the moment it started! And I am not a big fan of cold weather or snow, but...it was awesome and filmed to match GRRM's book.
I am so excited to see how it goes between Arya and Nymeria. All the time Arya was traveling with the Hound Nymeria never found her, why now? I guess we will learn that answer next week.

I think I have to agree the best episode was the very first episode ever. I was also hopelessly hooked, and it was the book on film. Last night's was my second favorite first episode.
Isn't it interesting how we all seem to drawn to the same characters? Cricket is so right Cersei is hateful, but I think we all respect her love for her children, her intellect, she is a powerful woman, just a little mad and misguided.
I am so loving everyone's comments today. Hope DW had a wonderful time at her concert. I can't wait to read her thoughts. I have been so bad today, staying on the internet almost all day. I need to get busy......LOL!

Loved it! Arya,s jaw dropping first scene scene was thrilling.so satisfying! Lol! Yes, Jon needs to hold council meetings meetings so his allies understand his motives and feel heard. Sansa deserves to be listened to but she doesn't understand the threat of the white walkers and the need for every man women and children if there is hope for survival. I was so happy to see nymeria in next week's schedule preview! Can't wait to see the reunion. A match made in heaven I wonder how long it takes for them to realize that the wall is no longer protected?
