Ladies we are dating ourselves. I'm the oldest , but that's life. I guess I haven't crushed on many actors in this eon of my life, but Robert Redford was # one for many years. Had a slight Brad Pitt moment, that takes me to Jon Snow and Jamie.
Butch and Sundance, The Way we were and something with Natalie Wood, can't remember the name. Anyway RR was swoon worthy for sure.
Glad the storm won't be causing to much trouble.......DW, hope you are away from the fires, they are awful also. There is a lot going on lately.

yes, I do remember RR was pretty handsome in his day. and BP even better, but not so much anymore.
Aegon and Jamie take the cake for me. its nice to hang out with folks our own age, eh?
I just watched the scene where Black Jack is interrogating Clair and describes flogging Jamie. he's a very creepy guy

Edmure, the Blackfish had his number from day one. Tobias has some acting chops! those two characters couldn't be more different and it plays them beautifully!

Yes, Chris Edmure didn't stand a chance with the wise old Blackfish. The series didn't do Blackfish justice, but he is still going strong in the books.
Yes, DW, Tobias hit the jackpot with these two roles, especially Blackjack Randell. It seems like the English actors are better actors than many of the Americans. Blackjack is a very hard role in my opinion and Tobias sells it. You want to reach threw the screen and choke him.
Hooray! We have something good to watch for the next 10 weeks.......

Well darn, I watched 10 minutes early. I must say I like the way they handled the episode. Going between Jamie fighting and killing Blackjack and Claire trying to adjust to life without Jamie, but carrying his child. That was well done in my opinion. I'm so excited to hear we will have 13 weeks. I think they are taking time on this series to do it right and I must say so far I have been impressed. Sadly they are doing a much better job than D&D. I don't mind waiting extra time when we get a great product. It looks like they will be showing Claire become a doctor and Brinna growing up.
Little LA, I can't remember, did Murtaugh die in the war? If I remember correctly Furgis was left at Lally Braugh. Spelling is off, sorry.....

Little LA, I can't remember, did Murtaugh die in the war? If I remember correctly Furgis was left at Lally Braugh. Spelling is off, sorry..... Jamie asked about Murtagh, and the one of the other prisoners said that he had lost him during the battle and that he hoped he was already dead (to prevent more suffering). but his fate is unknown at this point. they didn't specifically say that Black Jack was dead. I mean he looked dead all right, but you know how these shows are lol! they also mentioned that soldiers were searching for rebels and marching at a fast pace and would probably catch up with the Lallybroch bunch. I'm wondering, if they catch up with them and they tell the English soldiers that they choose not to fight, if they would be found innocent and be allowed to live?
Season 3 episode 2 Storyline - Hiding in an isolated cave, Jamie leads a lonely life until Lallybroch is threatened by redcoats pursuing the elusive Jacobite traitor known as "Red Jamie." Back in Boston, Claire and Frank struggle to coexist in a marriage haunted by the ghost of Jamie's love."
they have released the title of the first few episodes here www.imdb.com/title/tt3006802/episodes?ref_=tt_ep_epl

Really liked the episode, the intensity of the drama is edge of your seat, Jamie, poor Jamie, can we call him Job now. He can't even ask for death and get it Curious how this plays out, the suggestion of an alias by the records keeper has to have a significance going forward, I know Claire was looking for him and there was no records last season. Claire and Frank are going to be going fast forward next episode, wonder if Jamie does as well since Brinna is shown to be like 18 or so.

In the books, Jamie has poor memories of the battle. He never remembers who actually killed Black Jack Randall. The show made that much more clear. Great acting.
A whole bunch of stuff (20 years) has to happen in 13 episodes. They will fly through the Frank and Claire stuff.
Marilyn, you do need to re-read!! Great story. I am re-reading book 5 now. Having said this....Diana G. has NOT finished the series. Eight books are done. The ninth is due. Soon. LOL! Sound familiar?
