I think they plan to make Murtaugh take over the book character of Duncan Ines. That should be awesome!!! It was great to see it this morning!
RIP Franky spanky!
The place they filmed for Helwater is beautiful! Jamie was lucky that John took care of him like that, rather than sending him to the "New World".

it looks like Murtagh was sent to the colonies. I do hope we see more of him. In the after show they talked about saying good-by to Tobias, but we could see him in flash backs and stuff. glad to see that miserable marriage over lol![/font]

Yes, Murtaugh has gone to the Colonies. But....because of upcoming "Probable" future events (Not this Season) Well... Never mind - Read the books!
She has written a magnificent story and will continue to do so. I think she intends to have a total of ten books. Eight are complete. Nine is due soon... and as Chris pointed out in an earlier post: Might this not leave us in the same predicament we now find ourselves immersed in with another author "He who must not be named" (still LMAO every time I think of that, thanks Chris). Perhaps not. She is closer to concluding her tale. He who must not b e named seems less devoted to the telling of his tale. All of this is IMHO.

Things moved along faster than I expected last night. Claire's time in Boston is coming to a quick end, she should leave for Scotland next week and start her search. I had read Jamie and Claire would reunite in episode 5 and it looks like that will be the case.
It was so good to see Murtagh. I'm sure Jamie will see him again one way or the other. I hope you are correct Little LA and they are placing him in another role.
It was hard to ever look at Frank the same way again after seeing his twisted ancestor. RIP Frank.......
Again I am struck by how the show producers are not making the mistakes that D&D made on GoT's. They have so far to go before they run out of book material they should be fine....Maybe, Dianna is working hard to finish her story. She should be able to finish her last book before they catch up.

But, since I did... WOULDN'T THAT BE FREAKING AWESOME? LOL Keep reading DW and I will refrain from spoilers. Chris, Have you read these book? Miss Cookie? Jo E? Yazzee?
It was hard to ever look at Frank the same way again after seeing his twisted ancestor. RIP Frank.......I thought he played both parts extremely well. When Claire tells him/or his ghost she really had loved him, "he was her first love"...it was believable to me. But, he was sooooo creeepy as Black Jack Randall! He should have received the Emmy for that.

after Clair's experience with Black Jack, it's no wonder that she couldn't let Frank touch her. Its a wonder that she didn't tell Frank about it

Are we sure that she did not tell him the truth about his family tree?
Black Jack was a 5 times? great uncle. Not his ?5 times great grandpa.

no. we are not sure. they just didn't show or imply that Frank understood what had occurred and how it would have affected Clair. they may cover that at some point, I guess. it would be hard to separate the two with such a strong physical likeness..

I really need to get that book series and read it, I stumbled upon it on TV and have enjoyed it very much on it's own merit, the last episode I am seeing a time shift it would seem, Claire racing by in years and Jamie in months. I thought the chapter closing on the War with Jamie and moving forward to what is next was done well, you can still see some fire in Jamie, but it is embers now and not roaring. He has become more thoughtful and reflective on things, it will be interesting how this moves forward. Claire is a Doctor now, so if she goes back is she Witch Doctor? Will be curious to see how Brie becomes entangled, she's a hot Red Head and with Giulia Farnese gone we need another.

DW, you are so right about that!
Although....perhaps oddly....Eddie Redmayne is also a very good looking redhead to me.
Chris, the books are great! She makes the story so vivid. What a gift.
