For a moment it appeared that Arya was going to be killed off. OMGosh I was beyond distraught. I loved seeing her ride away on the white horse. Hopefully she listened to Sandor and is on her way to Gendry. Sandor was wonderful to her. He gave her a different mission. A mission to live and help other people.
Clegane Bowl.... The Mountain had to go. I loved it when he ignored everyone, tossed Qyburn aside like a rag doll and Cercei tiptoed around them to go down the steps. It was a vicious fight. The two of them falling into the flames was probably the ONLY way he was going to die. Sandor was such a good man.
Dany did just what we thought she might do. The "dragon was awakened" in her. Tyrion's face said it all. The bells were tolling, but we know for whom. She will have to die. And her little dog too! And I don't think Jon will be too sad to see that happen. She is mad. Just like her father.
Chris, I was thinking about you when it showed Jaime trying, with everything he had, to get to Cersei. Only love would have propelled him to continue after being so gravely wounded. He meant to be at her side. To hold her and try to save her. Come hell or high water. Hell came first.
It was amazing to see all those little pockets of dragonfire blowing up all over King's Landing.
All those innocent people that did die was horrible. That was definitely the bitter. Arya looking over the charred remains of people clinging to each other was too sad. Reminded me of Pompeii.
Can't wait to see what you all thought.
