Six months ago on Reddit a guy posted that he had worked on GoT's. He said he was afraid of being sued and he would give some main bullet points on Season 8, but that was all he could give. The bullet points were about 3 sentences each and they were just the big moments. I printed his post, but just wasn't sure if it was true or fan fiction. After episode 4 I dug it out and looked and he had predicted all the main events in Episodes 1-4. I can now say he gave the main events of episode 5 as well. He only gave 3 bullet points for Episode 6 and at this point I feel safe to assume they are correct.
I'm not going to rip a part Episode 5, it had it's problems, but I guess this is what the end looks like. We got the sweet in Episodes 1 & 2 and it was the bitter for all the remaining episodes.
For me last night the devastation and carnage were hard to watch. Sad that Dany had to end her arc in this way. I do remember many discussions we all had on HBO talk about the effects of Aejons secret when it was revealed. Poor Dany has lost so much, the final straw was the man she loved and the Iron Throne. When a Targaryen is born they flip a coin and Dany's flip to the mad side.
Well at least Arya is alive, my saving grace.....
The Fat Lady is walking on stage, next Sunday she will sing.......

What will the fat lady's song be?
Just tell me. I won't mention it to anyone. Scout's honor.

Next Monday will be a bummer.... I need to make plans to sit and drink wine and sob!!! It's crazy this series occupied 10 years of our lives. It seemed like it would be there for ever. I'm having withdrawal already!!!!!

Audio books if necessary, Jon is or a combination of Jon and Arya will have to deal with Dany at this point. Really if Jon could have accepted his love and pushed past him being his Aunt she may not have lost it. That was the final straw. In defense of Dany she came to make things better, she helped Jon and Sansa and mankind, lost two Dragons or Children, Jorah her conscience, Mesendai her friend and advisor and Confidant, in a brutal display of power, heartless meanness and brutality, Jon her lover rebuked her, Vary's an advisor betrays her and actually was trying to poison her. All her Dorthraki Guards she initially brought with her. She has nothing left but a Vengeful Grey Worm and the brother of her hated rival, all this has happened in a very short period of time, a few months maybe. Her execution and emotionless way of saying Dracaries said a lot, she had shut down any compassion and had resigned herself to the have nothing else to lose mentality and was going to take it out on King's Landing and Cersie. This was decided between her and Grey Worm well before the Bell Rang and we seen her on Drogon there I think only due to the look that She and Grey Worm had when Tyrion had asked her to stop if she hears the bells.

This was decided between her and Grey Worm well before the Bell Rang and we seen her on Drogon there I think only due to the look that She and Grey Worm had when Tyrion had asked her to stop if she hears the bells. We always knew there was foreshadowing that her hunger for power could drive her to terrible things and madness. What makes it so hard for me, they didn't take the proper time to show her slide into madness. They have rushed the process and therefore it is a hard sell. No secret I think they have made a huge mistake shortening the last two seasons. But, no use crying over spilt milk, it's done now. It is very bittersweet to watch Dany who we have watched grow up and do many good things resort to such Blood and Fire.....
There is a signed petition out there to HBO asking that the last two seasons be reshot. I didn't bother to sign, it will never happen. I'm concentrating on the excellence instead. Every actor from largest part to smallest part has been brilliant. They have brought GRRM's characters to life in a way that fandom has fallen completely in love with all of them. Yes. the writing has been flawed, but I for one will never be sorry I watched the brilliant work of the actors.
I hope we can all find some satisfaction in the finale......
